Now most of the guys and girls have their own blogs these days. These
are creative and give the personal touch to their blogs design and
looks. They want their blog look completely unique. Here I will tell to
some tips and hacks to change the looks of your Blogger blog into a new
professional website. We will start from the top of your blog.
Switch to Custom Domain
When you use Blogger you use it's doamin i.e blogspot.com. It is present in each URL of blogs of Blogger. Like
http://film-cast.blogspot.com/
http://colorsfromindia.blogspot.com/
Now when you change to custom domain it will look more professional and attract more visitors.
Above URL will change to
http://film-cast.com
As per the Peter Chen, if you are using blogspot domain and it has good Page Rank then it will belong to blogspot.com and not your blog. But when you switch to custom domain the Page Rank will entirely belong to your website.
Add a Favicon
Favicon is the little image or icon that appears in front of :
* URL in address bar
* Tab names you opened in your browser
* Bookmarks/favorites
By default
is the favicon of Blogger blogs. But you can add your desired favicon to give your blog a unique look.
Remove/Hide Navbar
By default Blogger offers a Navbar which is present on the Header(blog title) of your blog. Removing or hiding this navbar will add to your blogs professional look.
Add stylish menu bars
Navigational menu bars give easy access to content of website. And they looks good also. Now a days multilevel drop down menu bars are also available for Blogger.
Use third party templates
Blogger offers variety of templates. Also now it introduced the Template Designer. But there are lots of unique and elegant third party blogger templates to choose from. Most of the blog authors uses these templates.
Remove Time/Date Stamp, Author and other Post Page Options
Date and time is shown up/below blog post title. many of you asked for it. I am giving the easy solution. Go to Design >> Page Elements and click on Edit from Blog Posts box. A Configure Blog Posts window will open. Unmark the time, date, comments, author, Link to this post, your views, Show Email Post Links, Show Share Buttons and other options you do not want to show on your blog. I will explain the other procedure in separate topic.
Change Comments Form

Remove Blog/Post archive
Blog archive shows the list of all posts from your blog by date. But it also takes the more space and decline professional looks. You can delete Blog Archive using Page Elements.
Remove Showing Posts with Label or For Query
When you click on any label of your blogger blog you can see the following message before label search results: Showing newest posts with label ..... Show older posts. Also for for Search results Showing newest posts for query ...... Show older posts. Just Remove these Showing Posts with Label or For Query messages.
Remove Subscribe To Posts Atom
"Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom)" is appeared on each page of your blogger blog on main page, single post page and label/search page also. Atom feeds are similar to RSS feeds, so it is better to remove Subscribe To Posts Atom link from your blog.
Older Posts, Newer Posts and Home Link between them
Older Posts, Newer Posts and Home Links are present on every Posts of Blogger blog just bellow the comment form. Remove these links or Change it to your desired text or image.
